2. thats the nest of an african swallow whose air-speed is exactly greater than or equal to that of an european swallow..the nest of course has coconuts
3. ha the lenscrafter fooled you all..it's not a honeycomb, it is in fact a wasp nest which looks so similar to a honeycomb that little postman bees often deliver the mail to the wrong hive
I thought of it today morning before leaving to work, but thought will try that later. Aparna's guess kinda reinforced my idea. Glad to be in the lead as of now, keep it coming Arnie :)

Looks like a honeycomb on a tree.
Upside down view of the top of a building seen through an arch/well?
Upside down view of someone's hat?
The previous post was mine.
Anu
Is it some part of a Hammock?
Anaconda?
does look like a honeycomb to me..or could be the close up of a bee's butt. They say your butt starts resembling your home after sometime.
Is that the inverted image of the top portion of a soldiers metallic helmet ?
2nd guess for today: An Inverted image of the crown/head portion of a statue (like a Buddha or some diety's statue) under a tree.
1. it's a rotten jackfruit.

3rd guess: An ancient water fountain (upside down of course).
That seems like a beehive to me...
vand got it. it is a buddha statue inverted. location: Japanese tea gardens, San Francisco.
>vand: congrats ! u r in the lead. Was ur guess in any way influenced by aparna's ?
>sai: tip: look at the others' guesses before venturing a guess.
>catcharun: what r u smoking ? ur 2nd guess suggests a certain substance, no pun intended.
>others: good play, u're keeping me busy.

lens , not smoking anything..that i know of.
come on..don't tell me u havent seen monty python. see it to get the swallow reference
>catcharun: my bad. thanks to that little piece, i came across this: estimating the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow
I didn't see the answer, I think it's the terracota lampshade in our pergola area, with the tree in the background.
Bubs--u always have me in splits, esp. the kamalahasan one!!Yeah, music season was cool, literally and metaphorically.
