The second 'atom'

Answer revealed, winner (half point): Labdee, click comments for answer. Scroll down this post for original image.

Most creative answer: Catcharun: "hordes of people at Tirutanni saying 'Arogara'".

By now, you all must be used to all the manipulative tactics employed. Suffice it to say that this is a composite image. Identify the subject that is the 'atom' of this image, meaning the smallest indivisible unit of the image.

>bubs: Just like the previous image, this one is not one frame of a photograph. It is a composite, meaning that some other smaller frame was used and manipulated to create this shot. I'm referring to that smaller frame as an atom, which happens to be greek for indivisible. Thus, the aim is to find the subject that is the atom of this picture. Refer to previous pic and the original image. That's also an atom. Visual explanations are a lot more effective. Your guesses for the day r over & incorrect.

>others: Not a cat/tiger/teddy bear.

ok another excellent round of guesses, but no winners. i can say that one of you is close and if no one gets it, i will award 0.5 to that guesser and close this.

>questionable_surprise: too many guesses. only 3 per day. i will not consider ur 4th and 5th guess.

>arun.s: thanks for the feedback

>vand: i see u r timing ur guesses. strategic approach.

4 hours more for the 2 points bonus, after that it'll be back to one point.

hordes of people at tirutanni saying 'arogara'. the only way you managed to align them was by doing some serious cut and paste

let me state the obvious though (and try to appear intelligent ). the atom is a reflected image ie both the object and the reflection are in this photo. then u multiplied the atom across x and did some thingamajiggy in photoshop

its a overhead shot of 3 palliodams (those kerala snake boats) racing neck to neck and so close to each other that the water is not visible. the only question is , am i the winner ?

Is it a grilled something (made of wood or some metal) like a bridge or a pathway. The picture has been taken from below or one side of the wooden grill (or whatever)? I can see the grill (like a flat ladder), the light brown streaks in the pic are the stems of the grill and the grey/black/white streaks are the view of whatever there is on the other side of the grill/bridge). I think I can see something like water above it.

>bubs: shall strive to meet your nativity and creativity request. however, simplicity is open to question, as i mentioned before it's a fine balance between giving people a fair chance to solve it versus having easier puzzles and having the one that visits the blog first solve it.

sorry for the wait time, folks. had a crazy day today. here's the much awaited answer and the winner.

the answer i was looking for is "pier".

excellent round of guessing, people. two of you have gotten very close, but i have decided to give half a point to labdee. but labdee's answer "wooden poles in water" is closest. by the way labdee, that was your 3rd guess, after oars. the 4th one was "railing on deck overlooking water" does not count, which is not a big deal anyway, since it is not as close as the 3rd guess. wooden poles in water is not really specific, it's a general guess, but close, hence the 0.5.

vand's guess was a closer guess: "bridge or pathway", and good analysis vand, but you have overshot your guesses for the day, making them invalid.
