this is a pre-coovam drainage pipe in a wash basin..wash basin may also lead into gulf of mexico

its a shripet jaru..the one with ridges along its side..a drop of water is (what else) dropping into it..and the thing on the right is a leaf of a plant that is growing in it.

this is a x-ray photo of a bambaram ..(gyro/top for the more educated)..the lines are the ridges on which the rope is wound..the black circle is the nail that runs through it.

i think this is enough for now

Yet another good round of guessing, fellow bloggers. The only clue I can give at this time is that one of you is quite close to the answer. No more comments at this time.

Is it a shot of a lamp shade - those paper shades that can be compressed into a layer and then expand into a kind of spherical lampshade, when hung? The black area is the hole through which you insert the bulb.

guesses:
1.tunnel,
2.some kind of wind instrument,
3.Matrix-la bullet time sequence-la varum bullet trails...the black thing is probably the barrel of the gun or Neo's jacket!

can't tell u who's close without giving that person an unfair disadvantage, but here's a different clue: more than one person has identified elements of this subject in their guesses, but not the subject itself.

>sai: answer to ur q: day job, and to give u a chance to study.

>j: repeat guess, labdee beat u to it.

>anon: very interesting guess, but no.

>others: nope.

The patterns on the right side of the picture looks like that of a carpentered wood. Probably a wooden table.

The center "black thing" looks like a water drop on the lens of your camera.

(i)The left side of the picture could be a skewed image of venetian blinds.

image of objects reflected on a curved surface( could be a shiny vessel).

The objects reflected include the wooden table on which it is lying and venetian blind around the corner of the room.

3)Tunnel in a mine.
(BTW..do u expect specific names..r a generic guess is also acceptable? Like say tunnel instead of the name of the exact tunnel that this is a pic of?)

Specifically, is it the Hendrik Mine?

ok ok The - is dash or hyphen..hyphen when pronounced in a slightly skewed manner is high fun...it is a shot of a hot air baloon from the basket..the center cirle is the hole through which the hot air blows..the rings and the leafy woody pattern on the right are just patterns.. only one thing could be more high fun than hot air baloon and that is a f-22A..this is clearly not a f-22A

ok i really thought u were trying to tease us there...but india-la negative ellam brown-a paathu idhu ennai endru puriyalai...does this have to do with colour invert?
anyway,some more guesses:
1.the fuzzy picture of some army general's cap
2.cloud formation
3.the patterns on the right remind me of a floppy disk's magnetic tape,so maybe it is a distorted magnetic tape with some kind of rack on the left side.
